    In the "Get Back Right" Workshop, Josh uses the music and movements to communicate the message that sometimes you need to rely on more than just yourself to get back on track.  The combo draws on many eras of hip-hop movements and music.

In Hip-HopPARTY, students learn that dance is meant to be shared and are asked the question: what do you want to share with your community?

    Hip Hop was first created in New York when DJ’s began to fuse different genres of music together. This mixing pot of music still happens to this date. Here’s a dance that pays respect to those roots of Hip Hop. Put your dancing cowboy boots on and saddle up to explore a modern day fusion of hip hop and country music that is sure to get you two stepping.

Thematically, this Workshop can be used as a follow-up to the "Get Back Right" Workshop. In the first combo, we get back on track and now it's time to celebrate. The movements themselves are rich with imagery and match the song lyrics perfectly which supports recall and connection to the message of the song.
